these pixs were taken just a few days after we returned for S Africa(possible execption- Jaxon-on-fence) Ruby Camella should be about 10days old and Jaxon Blaze 2-1/2 yrs old) a word about Jaxon--the boy would rather not wear clothes-this is one warm-blooded kid!!) Robyn said it snowed a couple of days ago-they were riding in the car, tempt had risen to 42(F) - Jaxon said :"Mommy, I'm hot-turn on the vent!" when he was in his crawling stage(this kid could "really" crawl!) he would be out the dog-door in-a-flash and crawling through the snow!)) you can believe in that pix where Ian is getting ready to catch him- the only thing under that red shirt..is a "canyon breeze" )) like the pix of Jaxon and Robyn - hey, he has his red drink, his racetrack hat on, looks like he is giving the day's entries(horses) a serious look and waiting for his granddad to pick him up and head for the track ))) yo RATTY, am wondering if Jaxon(pix-on-fence) spotted the easter bunny!!!_______forgot, Jaxon hair!) man this stuff turns into a bird's nest --his grandmother said she had to use oil to get the knots out!!)) his father told me if I want some action--just take Jaxon to the local supermarket.lol

Awww Robbie thank you so much! Such cute family pictures. Jeeze, even the dog is photogenic, as is Moke of course. Thank you so much for sharing. And, of course, we'll respect the care and consideration with which these pictures were presented to us.

I don't know anything at all about kids/babies - but, to me, Ruby looks like she's got really long fingers - maybe you've got a future concert pianist there?

Cute pictures!! I still hope someday I can see pics of Ian as a little boy. I read somewhere a while back Ian saying he had red curly hair when he was little. This I've got to see! Hopefully he'll be daring enough to break out with those pics someday!

Wow! Now I know all Robbie's children and grandchildren! Robbie, you have a nice family and a great heredity!

Okay I re-read what I wrote and realized that it could be misunderstood. I didn't mean that the tattoos looked like Jack's (on LOST) tattoos - obviously they don't - I meant that they looked like jacks - as in the kids game with the jacks and the ball. Or is it just me who is thinking that it might have been misunderstood because I've got way too much LOST on the brain?

I misunderstood you then. But I guess I'm equally guilty in the "too much Lost on the brain" department. I was a little confuzzeled tho, because usually you're very good with correct spelling and "they look like jacks" didn't make sense then.



Yes that was my first thought aswell when I saw the pic of little Jaxon (or well... the first coherent thought I was able to think ). Ian mentioned it in the Friday Five for August 14, 2003.

I could never imagine that Ian had red (!) and curly (!) hair as a child, but now seeing Jaxon, I believe it. And you can totally see that Robyn and Ian are siblings... the same smile, the same warmth about her eyes...

Btw... reading that story again about little red-curly-haired Ian wearing his new cowboy boots (and nothing else) again, I feel it's safe to say that little Jaxon and his Uncle Ian share more than just the hair color.
