Warner Home Video has announced a hi-def Blu-ray Disc release for Season 3, to be released on November 11, 2008. The Blu-ray release will include the same bonus material as the DVD version.

Can't wait to buy the dvd. i still haven't seen the full season yet. i've been working through re-runs this summer. Unfortunately i have been spoiled but not enough to make me watch the season over again to find out what happens

Season Three DVD was released in the UK on August 25, 2008 (Region 2), and is set for release in the US on September 2, 2008.

Eclipse Magazine has a pre-DVD release piece, according to which two retailers will be carrying Supernatural Season 3 boxed sets that include special Supernatural collector’s items that can only be found with sets purchased at their stores: Best Buy will have a die-cast ’67 Chevy Impala inspired by Supernatural that is packaged with the DVD, while Target has a full-color 2009 locker calendar featuring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.

According to Warner Brothers' Customer Service, if you received a copy of the Season 3 dvds without an insert about Digital Copies, you will need to exchanged your dvds at the store you purchased them from. If they do not have any copies with the insert, the store will need to get new copies from Warner Brothers with the insert.

Of course, I was one of those who didn't get the insert and the store I bought it from is 40 minutes away.
