Nathan----"Hey.....sorry I ruined every one's night." I make a few baskets. "I knew I should not have invited him here man."

"Dont feel bad man i mean..you trusted in him..there was no way either of any of us would think he would do that"

Nathan----"I should have known better. I guess....a lot of it is my fault. You know I have a bad temper and I hurt Luke really bad before. I guess he has every right to hate me."

"Maybe..but not act like a jackass on your rehearsal dinner"

Nathan-----"He wants to hurt me as much as I have hurt him. I guess that is a way he could do it. I am just sorry every ones night got ruined."

"It`s ok.I mean we were worried about the two of you..how is Haley doing?"

Nathan----"Haley is fine....." I smirk "She is so beautiful man. I mean I know I have been with a lot of beautiful women but Haley is different. She does not even realize how awesome she is."

I chuckle "yeah, i can tell she is fiiine" he glares "Kidding dude..well not really but dont worry, i will respect you guys..look man...most of people dont find the one, you know?? Don`t let your brother ruin it."

Nathan----"I am trying not to. He came over tonight and I did not talk to him. I guess after tomorrow we will go our seperate ways again. Oh yeah man I forgot to tell you my manager will be at the wedding. He is the one you need to talk to about that job I was telling you about."

"Really??? Sounds great Nate!! Thank you so much, and thanks for letting me have the exclusive pictures of your wedding, it means a lot."

Nathan----"I already told you this but I mean it. You are the only guy who has ever really reported on me fairly. You never brought up all that crap that happened in high school even though you could have made money on it."

Nathan----"I really respect you man." Mouth says "dont" I look at him "Why not? You are a good guy."

Hey what do you think about bringing Peyton or Brooke in to this? Deb can play her and she can be a girl in Nates past that knows stuff about him. Like what he was like before.

Nathan----"Just some of the guys on the team. I some times wonder what Peyton is up to. I have not seen or heard from her since we graduated."

Nathan-----"Oh yeah? Good for her. She always loved music. I hope she is happy. I hurt her really bad also man. I hurt every one I ever care about. I am just so scared that I am going to hurt Haley also."

Which ever yall want. I was thinking maybe Nate could have been an abusive boy friend or some thing. Just an idea.

Nathan----"I still have this temper man. I still go off on people like I used to. You remember how I was always getting in to fights and having to prove how tough I was. Especially when I get drunk. I even hurt Peyton man."

I was just thinking that maybe he beat her up either Peyton or Brooke. Maybe he forced one of them to have an abortion or some thing. Than that woman still wants revenge on him. I have not thought it out though.

Nathan----"I did Mouth. All those rumors in school about me were true. That time Peyton was in the hospital because she broke her ribs and had a broken arm? I got drunk and did that to her. I never want to hurt Haley like that."

Nathan----"I never want to man. I have these rages and I do not have control over myself than. I lash out and hurt people. I have tried to get counseling and I am better but I am scared. Haley deserves better than me."

Nathan----"That is what I plan on doing. You are a really good friend man. I should be going or she will start worrying. I will see you tomorrow."

Nathan----I go home to Haley. She is laying in bed flipping thru tv channels. "Hey what you doing?"

Lets say Lucas is in contact with Peyton and she shows up at the wedding.

Nathan----"Nothing on?" I look at her "Hey thanks for giving me some time by myself. The rest of the night I am yours."

"millions of channels and nothing good.." i say looking at the tv then sigh and look at him "how are you feeling?"

Nathan----"I am better. Mouth was there and we talked. That guy is a really good friend Hales. He said the same thing you did. I should get more counseling and that he does not think I will ever hurt you."

"I know you will never hurt me.." i kiss him softly then pull away "so uh while you were away this girl named Peyton called..she said she is an old friend or something...any idea who she is??"

Nathan----"Peyton called? Yeah....she....she was...um my girl friend in high school." Luke has probably been in contact with her. Crap this is all I need.

"Oh...thats weird.. i mean..ex-girlfriends or boyfriend usually dont call.."

Nathan----"Yeah weird. I have not talked to her in a long time Haley."

Haley

"well..maybe she found out about you getting married and wanted to say congratulations or something."

Nathan-----"Yeah....maybe. It is kind of late to be calling people now. I will call her back some time."

Haley

"yeah..we hsould get some rest...tomorrow is the big day"

Nathan----"Yeah....it is." I get in bed and Haley lays on my chest. "This feels so right."

"I know..it really does.." i smile a little then close my eyes as he runs his fingers thru my hair "i love you.."

Nathan----"LOve you too Hales." I can hear Haley's breathing get slower and I know she is asleep. I try to sleep but I cant. I keep thinking about Luke and what he might have planned to hurt me.

I hear the alarm then i open my eyes and smile. Nathan is sleeping so i place a kiss on his lips "hey you wake up.." i whisper.

Nathan----I open my eyes and Haley is staring at me with her beautiful smile. "Hey so you ready to become Mrs Scott again?"

"More than you know.." i say smiling then kiss him and pull away.
