"Earth's greatest heroes assemble, to fight the New Dalek Empire. But a fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows..."

Well, I have to confess, I liked seeing Davros again. And he scared Pip so much that she hid under the duvet we were snuggled in and refused to look until he was off screen lol.gif

I'm not sure bringing all the different 'Who gang' into the ep worked though. Mr Smith (from Sarah Jane Adventures) seemed too juvenile with the music (nice to see TPTB realised this and got Sarah to say something though), and Pip had no idea who the Torchwood people were (apart from Captain Jack, of course) and so she got all confused and wanted information on who they were, how I knew who they were, and who else in the ep knew them and who didn't - which kind of spoiled things spineyes.gif

Pip has finally realised that Captain Jack is gay though lol.gif I didn't confuse her by telling her he wasn't even that straightforward to label wink.gif lol.gif

Neither of us were happy to see the Doctor begin to regenerate. Neither of us wants a new Doctor yet.

I did enjoy seeing the Doctor running as fast as he could towards Rose though. I'm not enamoured with the whole love thing between them, but it was nice to see the two running towards each other, as they would be expected to. Pity the Dalek got there first rolleyes.gif

I'm looking forward to next week!

Hi everyone, i was just wondering, the DR is regenerating right, do you think it might have anything to do with his daughter by any chance? idea.gif It's just that we have not heard anything from her since she was introduced, and i swear she said she was going to find him, and she can also regenerate. Just an idea.... spineyes.gif

I think it must be some other twist. DT has been filming for the Specials next year - so he must be continuing as the Doctor??
Vinity
Wow! I loved the team all coming back. Maybe this should have beena 3 parter? It seems it took the whole ep to get everyone in place. It was great even with the frelling Daleks.
Spook
Well, next weeks ep is, apparently, 65 minutes long so I agree that it could have done with being a 3 parter! And it looks like TPTB maight have thought so too?

Something is going to happen with the Doctor's Hand.

For some reason I didn't realize Martha was coming back for this. I yelled when I saw her grin.gif I don't watch Sarah Jane, she had a kid?? When did that happen?

I love how Happy Donna was for him about Rose coming back.

Rose with a great big gun grin.gif

Everyone did a good job of looking terrified it was the frelling Daleks. I hate Daleks but seeing Darvos was OK and I loved the nuts Dalek.

I didn't realize how sad it was going to be to see Jack be able to hug the entire Torchwood team at once sad.gif I loved him kissing them both on the head.

Shadow Proclamation was kind of a let down.

So Donna is something new? What was with the two heart beat thing?

Loved the Doctor escaping "just got to go get the key" lol.gif

I'm pissed we have Martha's familly, and Donna's family but not at least Jackie sad.gif

Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister hurray.gif she rocks socks!!!!!

Web cams are naughty lmao.gif Why didn't the subwave thing hunt out Rose? I love Jack flirting on the subwave.

Ianto " Slight loss of dignity, no change there , then." lmao.gif

I liked Rose being upset she wasn't on the puter with the rest of them and being jealous of Martha.

Isn't that the Church where Rose when back in time to meet Pete?

I like Torchwood team, "going out fighting, like Owen, like Tosh"

If they've fooled us about Ten staying next year I'm gonna be pissed. I'm not ready.

Thank god next week is longer.

I agree - they made a point of focussing on it, so it's definitely got a role to play in the next episode.

He's not her kid in that sense. I missed most of these shows, but he's some sort of clone - maybe no even human. He has no belly button and is super intelligent, and started life as a teenager. Sarah adopted him after saving him. Though it's not an official adoption.

Shadow Proclamation was kind of a let down.

A huge let down! Especially as I always imagined it as some sort of written proclamation! lol.gif

Missed this reference confused.gif

I was laughing at the Doctor too - it was so obvious what he was going to do! lol.gif

Jackie is in the next ep. She must be - she's in the media shoots for the episode lol.gif As is Mickey.

I liked that Rose was jealous and felt left out of the chatting as well. She played that scene well.

I totally ditto this.

Although at another site I visit someone mentioned knowing someone that worked on the show, and they reported DT being really cross about something recently - ranting and raving about messing with canon and changing things just because it looked good but it was against the ethos of the show... Maybe this is what he was upset about? That the Doctor should regenerate, but isn't going to?
Vinity
The Donna Heatbeat thing was at the Shadow Proclamation planet when Donna was sitting on the steps and the woman came up and offered her water and said she was sorry for her loss. You heard a heart beat in the background right before when Donna was sitting by herself. It sounded odd, like it was echoing. I've heard people spec that Donna is a hidden timelord. shrug.gif
Spook
If Donna is a hidden Timelord I'll stop watching the show forever! eek.gif

I think it was just the music score, and nothing significant... Just something showing Donna's shock at what had been said - kind of a suspense thing.

'The Stolen Earth' is a good first part to a season ending episode. The writers brought back some of Doctor Who's past companions to fight an dangerous old enemy. I can't wait to see next week's episode. nod.gif
