A Little background-
For now, choose ONE character but later if we don't have enough people you may choose another character.
Rules-
1. Stay in character. If you really feel like your character would do something even if you WISH they wouldn't then you need to follow what your character would do.
2. Make sure you keep up with the story. For example someone might write in one of their posts that Maria is supposed to work at 10. Then the person playing Maria needs to make sure she follows that and is at work at 10. Just make sure to read everyone elses posts and don't just become so wrapped up in your own story and plot line that you forget there are other people rping.
3. Try to avoid one liners as often as possible. Delve deeper into the mind of your character than just one line. Put what they are feeling, thinking...etc.
4. Rp will be in story form. For example:
Correct way to rp- Maria looked around and wondered where her alien boyfriend was. She needed to talk to about the whole Max and Liz thing that had erupted the day before. What happened to those two, they used to be so close... Maria thought to herself as she bit her bottom lip and thought about her two friends. Liz had been a wreck all week and she felt as if she couldn't reach her no matter what. Well, today was going to be different, she would reach her friend even if it killed her.
Wrong way to rp- Maria looked for Michael.
5. TRY to post at leastonce a day. It is hard to keep a role play going when you are sitting there for a LONG time waiting for another character to respond. It helps to check the boards at least once a day so you can keep up with your character and what is going on around you.
6.Remember the time period the rp takes place in. Our time period is right after the episode 'End of the World' so for example Max and Liz are definitely on the outs, and Maria and Michael are not doing so well either so keep things like that in mind.
7. Read the entire rp Don't just skim it because you might miss something that concerns your character. Make sure before you post that you have read the previous posts and know who and where you are speaking/to. Thanks guys!

Kyle-
Kyle watched as Tess stormed off to his room and he growled with frustration. Women! Where the hell did this all come from? He stood up and was about to go for a drive to blow off steam but decided against it. He stormed to his old room and knocked on the door. When Tess didn't reply he knocked harder. When she still didn't reply he felt himself getting angry and he held his hand over the door and unlocked it with his powers. He didn't stop to marvel at the fact that he had never done that before, he was too preoccupied. He stormed in and saw a shocked looking Tess sitting there. He stood in front of her and glared. "I don't get you! We all let you in! Liz especially! She is making an effort! I thought we were all over this stupid Max thing. Do you still love him? Is that why you are mad? Cause he doesn't love you back?!" He knew it was the wrong thing to say and he immediately regretted it.

Tess's heart jumped when Kyle stormed in. She could have sworn she locked the door. She was about to demand how he got in when he said, "I don't get you! We all let you in! Liz especially! She is making an effort! I thought we were all over this stupid Max thing. Do you still love him? Is that why you are mad? Cause he doesn't love you back?!" Tess felt her glare turn from cold to frigidly cold. She shot daggers with her eyes at Kyle and just turned. "Get out Kyle." She said calmly but with anger in her voice. "Get out...or you will regret it." She said anger flashing in her blue eyes. She didn't want to but she would use her powers if she had to.
OOC: Amelia and Sean...you guys are keeping me on the edge of my seat!!!!

Kyle glared right back at her. "Or I'll regret it? I'm not afraid of you or your alien freakazoid powers." He said. "Can't we just talk about this?! You are being childish." He said as he glared down at her.

Liz didn't need to hear Max's apology. She could feel it with every fiber inside her and she felt it flowing between them. She just continued to hug him feeling out their connection. It felt so alien but so right. After a few minutes she could feel Max calming down so she pulled away and decided to just ignore what happened. She knew he could feel her thinking about it. But she didn't want to pressure him into talking. "So, that's enough practicing I suppose." She said really wishing they could practice more. "What do you want to do? Are you hungry?" She saked him trying to do something normal for a change. "I could make you something. How does spaghetti sound?" She said smiling at him.

Tess felt herself growing angrier. "Kyle, I mean it. I don't want to talk. Now get out." She saw him standing there and she growled and stood up she shoved him against the wall and just stormed out. She shouted back "Fine you want me to talk? I'm going to go find your perfect Liz Parker and give her a piece of my mind." She grabbed his keys and stormed out to his car not even caring if he didnt give her permission.
Tess sped off towards the crashdown. She didn't know what she wanted to say to Liz but she was tired of shouting at Kyle when it was Liz she really wanted to give her mind to.

Why was Tess upset? She knew the girl had been cold to her the past day but she figured it would blow over.

Tess pulled up to the crashdown and fought her way out of the seatbelt. She was in a blind rage, against what? She couldn't really tell. All she knew was she wanted Liz to be at the recieving end. She looked and saw Liz's dad working the grill and she growled with frustration. She knew there was a way through the back to Liz so she crept around back and saw the ladder that led to Liz's balcony. She started to climb them. She heard Liz's voice and she waited till Liz had hung up the phone before she made her presence known. "We need to talk." She finally said as she glared at Liz from outside her window.
~Liz~
Liz's connection got cut off from Kyle before she could get any answers and she sighed. "Bye Kyle..." shge said pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. She felt Max's calmnig precense and she smiled and tossed her phone on the bed. Oh well she could handle Tess...she hoped. She then heard "We need to talk." Liz jumped and turned around and saw Tess glaring at her through her window. "Tess!" Liz squeaked.

She saw Liz's fear and smirked. "What? Calling your precious cheating king to come ad save you? Typical. You can't even hold your own ground...oh bu it doesn't matter cause the perfect Liz had tons of people who would jump in front of her and rescue her whenever she needed." Tess said with a glare.

Liz backed up from Tess when she jumped into her room. Liz watched her and felt a coldness coming from Tess that she didn't normally feel. Something wasn't right...she knew it wasn't. She listened to Tess and felt her feeling getting hurt. She felt herself becoming angry. She felt Max and he was saying he was going to come to her but after Tess's comment Liz thought coldly to Max: //No. I am fine. Just stay. She knew she was being cold but she was hurt my Tess's words.
"For your information Max isn't coming. I can hold my own ground. I am NOT as weak as you think I am." She said sternly. "And I don't know what your problem is. But I didn't do anything to you. You are just making a big fuss over nothing." Liz said softly but with force behind her words. She was not going to back down.

The rock shattered but the pieces did not fly everywhere. He didnt even look at Courtney but he looked at Maria who looked very proud of him. I don't like you and everyone continues to hate me." Tess turned and looked out the window. "Whatever, I am leaving." She climbed out the window and walked towards the ladder. "Have a nice life Parker." She said before disappearing down the ladder and off the roof.

Kyle listened to Max and he sighed with relief but his heart continued to race. "Uh...well she is pretty ticked...talking about how she dislikes Liz...I dont know she seemed relaly angry when she left so I just assumed she was ready to start a fight." He said shaking his head.

Isabel's mind automatically went into worry mode but she decided to push it aside for a while. What good was it to worry everybody? Especially Alex. He shouldn't have to worry. She smiled at him and nodded to show that she agreed with him. "Yeah. I doubt it meant anything." She finished her frozen yogurt and pushed her bowl away. "I'm beat..." She was but she didn't want to be alone and for the first timne she felt that tug of wanting to be with someone special. "But...do you want to watcha movie? We could go back to my house..." She said hopefully.
***Courtney***
Courtney smiled at Michael. "See, you did it. Good job." She gave him a small nod and then sat next to Michael and took a slice of pizza. She grabbed the tabasco from him and poured some on her slice and frowned. "ew...that doesn't taste so good." She said as she made a face and waved her hand over her pizza to get rid of the rest of the tabasco. "So...are you done practicing for today? Or do you want to try one more time to see if you got it?" She asked Michael as she ate her pizza.

She smiled at him and nodded to show that she agreed with him. "Yeah. I doubt it meant anything." She finished her frozen yogurt and pushed her bowl away. "I'm beat..." She was but she didn't want to be alone and for the first timne she felt that tug of wanting to be with someone special. "But...do you want to watcha movie? We could go back to my house..." She said hopefully.
***Courtney***
Courtney smiled at Michael. "See, you did it. Good job." She gave him a small nod and then sat next to Michael and took a slice of pizza. She grabbed the tabasco from him and poured some on her slice and frowned. "ew...that doesn't taste so good." She said as she made a face and waved her hand over her pizza to get rid of the rest of the tabasco. "So...are you done practicing for today? Or do you want to try one more time to see if you got it?" She asked Michael as she ate her pizza.
~*Liz Parker*~
Liz frowned and crossed her arms over her stomach. "Have a nice life Parker." Liz's face showed obvious panic and she stepped forward. "No Tess!" She then saw Tess climbe down the ladder. She heard Max ask her if she was okay in her mind and she just pushed him out. She couldnt let him know that she was ruining their future yet again. That she had pushed Tess away. She felt so horrible. She climbed out the window and called for Tess again but she saw her disappear around the corner. Liz growled with frustration and climbed down the ladder after her. "Tess!" She called as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She could feel Max's panic inside her as she got further from him. He could tell she soon realized, because of their bond hecould tell that she was getting away and what was going on. She knew he'd come after her sooner or later and she just continued to run after Tess. "Tess wait please!" She shouted as she got closer to the blonde who was walked quickly towards Kyle's car. Liz finally caught up to her and reached out to touch her shoulder,out of breath, she panted "Tess...I know you hate me...but I know you love the others. I know Kyle cares about you...he tells me...andMax, he thinks you're great...how could you ever think we don't want you here?" Liz asked her voice desperate and her eyes wide.

Max-
Max didn't hear Liz answer him. He decided not to worry but soon he felt her worry and her fear. He stepped closer to the door and then suddenly his connection told him that she was leaving him, getting further from him, chasing someone and she was desperate to catch them. He suddenly started to panic. He waved his hand over the door and opened it. When he didnt see Tess or Liz, he rushed to the balcony and looked down. He started down the ladder and followed his connection to where Liz was, he could just feel the connection pullinghim towards her. He was about to round the corner when he heard Liz talking, she sounded scared. He stayed behind the corner and listened as she pleaded with Tess. He wanted to lket her fight her own battles but he didn't want her to get too far from him. Max held the cell to his ear still and finally whispered into it. "Look Kyle...let me call you back..." He thenclicked the phone closed and strained to hear all of the girl's conversation.

Tess looked at Liz, the fear was obvious in her brown eyes. She backed up and just shook her head. "I don't know..." She said after a while suddenly realizing what she was doing. She didn't want to apologize yet though, she was still upset and even though she knew she was in the wrong she didn't want to admit that just yet. "I'm going...just leave me alone for now." She turned and walked to the car. "Don't follow me." She said as she glared at Liz. She then climbed in the car and drove off towards the pod chamber.
::Alex Whitman::
Alex looked at Isabel and shook his head, "No I should probably head home. I am tired..." He said stretching. He saw the disappointment on Isabel's face and he smiled at her. "But hey, can I take you out tomorrow?" He didn't know what had hit him but he held his breath and waited for her answer.

Liz stood glued to her spot unable to say anything. She sputtered a few times and tried to find words to say but soon Tess was in the car and driving away. Liz stood there with her mouth open a bit, she suddenly realized what was happening and she gave out a frustrated groan. She felt Max's presence was closer than before. She turned and ran by the corner. She saw him and she threw herself into his arms. "Max..." She whispered. "You have to go talk to her...she is going to leave. It's because of me." Liz said sadly as she let go of him. She couldn't stand to see Tess leave cause of her and she wanted to make sure that that didn't happen.

Tess parked at the pod chamber and ran up the side of the mountain, she opened the cave and once inside sat on a rock. She then began to cry. She didn't know why she was crying, she didn't even know why she was angry anymore. She just felt so alone and scared. She wished above everything else that she could start over, go somewhere else, be alone. But she knew that she couldn't do that, well she could, but she wouldn't. She would never leave Kyle and Max. No matter what happened in her past life, she knew she cared about Max a lot even if he didn't care about her the same. She let the tears roll down her face. She suddenly felt angry, angry at Nasedo for leaving her, angry at him for betraying her, angry for asking her to betray the others, angry at Kyle for not understanding that she cared about him, angry at Max and Liz or being so sickeningly happy, angry at Nicholas for trying to hurt the people she cared for... she let out a frustrated growl and a rock next to her exploded. She looked at it and then put her head in her lap. She felt so confused.
::Alex Whitman::
Alex looked at her and nodded, "Yeah, let's go." He was confused by her actions, she seemed upset at first that they couldnt hang out and now that he asked her out, she acted as if it were nothing. He decided to talk to Liz and Maria about it later. He hated trying to decipher women. He walked out to his car and opened the door for Isabel who climbed in. He ran over to his side and drove her towards her house. Once there he parked and looked over at her. "Well, here we are...so are you going running tomorrow? I could join you." He said hoping she wouldn't reject his offer.
+Michael
Michael grinned sheepishly at his girlfriend. "Uh...yeah sorry...no drinks." He then took a bite of pizza and looked at Courtney as he ate. "I'll try one more time." He said with his mouth full of pizza. He wanted to make sure he knew what he was doing. He had to be able to do this without even thinking.
Kyle-

Liz said as she pulled back. She wondered if that was a flash or a premonition, she decided to take her chances. "I think she is at the pod chamber...try there first." She said with a small smile. She then pulled away and sighed, "I'm going to go back upstairs and just try to get some rest..." She felt so helpless. What if she had ruined everything?
Liz nodded, "Yes. I am fine here...you go ahead." She said as she reached up to give him a uick kiss on his lips. She suddenly got a flash of him talking to Tess in the Pod Chamber. "Max..." Max had never seen her this way, not even Kyle or anybody really. She had always kept her composure in front of the others. She felt mortified that Max was seeing her this way. She tried to swallow back her tearand attempted to clean off her face. "Nothing's wrong Max...I'm fine." She finally managed to say.
*Isabel*
Isabel smiled at Alex and nodded, "Yeah, for sure join me." She said as she opened her door. "Thanks for hanging out with me Alex...and I usually jog at 7 in the morning...so if you want to come, be here and ready by then." She said in her no nonsense tone. "So, I'll talk to you later then?" She said as she got out of the car and shut the door. She stood and watched him drive away. She smiled to herself and walked towards the house.
Isabel smiled at Alex and nodded, "Yeah, for sure join me." She said as she opened her door. "People generally don't cry if they're fine Tess." He felt Liz in his mind and had a glimpse of her lying on her bed before she closed the connection. He realised it was to give him privacy.

Tess sighed and wiped her tears away with the palm of her hand. She looked away towards the pods and shook her head, "Max, you wouldn't understand...you just can't understand..." She said sadly as she continued to look at the pods. "I'm an outsider...you are not. And what I am feeling doesn't even make sense to myself half the time..." She said with a tremble of her lips. She wiped the last of her tears away. Her eyes were bloodshot and her face was red. She knew she was a mess.
::Alex Whitman::
Alex waved and then drove away from Isabel. He looked in his mirror and watched as she got smaller and smaller with the distance. He sighed and decided to pay Liz a quick visit before heading home. He wanted to ask her about Isabel's behavior. He wondered if Maria was over at Liz's. He sure could use the advice from his two girls. He didn't bother calling, he just drove straight to the Crashdown and crawled up the ladder. He walked up to the window and saw Liz sleeping. He smiled in at her and gently tapped at the window. "Liz...it's me." He semi-whispered through the glass.
Max
"Ok." he thought about what she had said, so she didn't want to talk about it to him, maybe he could get it out of her, make her talk about it.
"So Kyle called me, said you left there in a hurry and were upset. He said something about you being mad at Liz." He watched her face for any reaction.
"You want to tell me what that's about?"

"Tess, you aren't scum to us, everyone is just still a bit wary of you since you told us about the plan with nasedo. You need to understand that we've all been together, in this together since before you came here. So we're this little group and it takes a while to break through to each of us. It's going to take time to be fully trusted by everyone." He sighed,
"And as for Liz, I only speak for myself here when I say that yes I do adore her, because I love her. Liz is what I want, Tess, and I'm sorry that feel this way about her but we can't have this hanging over our heads because when the time comes to face our enemies, we need be a team and a strong team."
