I have to say that I was disappointed in this series. I think they over did the special effects. The plot seemed driven by the effects rather than the other way around.

I did love the comedic relief that Paul was able to bring to his role of Billy. It's funny that two of the characters he played on TV have both been named Billy.

The series is definately special effects oriented. I don't know how the original was but i know its all about the car. It was still entertaining for the most part though. I did enjoy Paul's role as Billy. Some of his comedy reminded me of his role in Nobody's Watching. I also liked Sydney Tamiia Poitier on the show.

There is a really nice interview with Paul from www.canada.com explaining his role on Knight Rider. Paul has some great things to say about his performance as Billy and the car itself. You can check it out by clicking the title: Canuck actor enjoying his Knight job

I have to say I was a little unsure about this show at first but it has grown on me I have to admit. This show has become my break in the week when I can just be entertained. My favorite episode I think so far has been episode entitled "Knight of the Iguana" when all four main characters: Michael, Zoey, Billy and Sarah go on a mission to Baja California. I liked the chemistry between all four characters and what they brought to each other. I also enjoyed the halloween episode "Knight of the Living Dead"...Paul was also great in it! spineyes.gif

Justin Bruening looks a lot like David Hasselhoff, without all the hair in this picture. Or is it just me that sees the resemblance?

These past few episodes have been quite the trip! Some better than others but overall I liked how characters Carrie Rivas, Charles Graiman and Alex Torres left the show. I'm glad they made it possible for Rivas to maybe come back in the future and not completely kill her off like they did Graiman and Torres. How do you all feel?

It is definately weird having three main characters gone from Knight Rider. But I have enjoyed Sarah embracing her new role as director. Its been nice to see so far!

I loved watching Paul Campbell in his uniform last week in "I love the Knight Life" episode!

There has been lots of talk of it getting cancelled, when its up against American Idol I can see why. I've been enjoying the character development recently, especially with Sarah & Zoe. It will be sad to see them go if it does get cancelled.

Knight Rider mentioned in both Community and Supernatural.

" There was a lot of new TV to watch on Thursday night. As a devoted TV fan, that always brings a smile to my too-often-pouty face. So, I settled onto my couch in my favorite big hoodie and decided to watch (live) Community, Parks and Recreation, and then Supernatural. Of all the things I could not have predicted, it would be that two out of three of these shows would reference Knight Rider. No.Lie. It happened. And now I have no idea what could happen next Thursday!

Knight Rider on Community: Bliss is discovered by Abed and Jeff! That is, they eat Lucky Charms cereal (Mmmm!) and watch a Knight Rider marathon.

Knight Rider on Supernatural: As “The Trickster” went after Sam and Dean by putting them in TV Land, Sam got turned into Kit the car. Not his worst look. (I mean, sometimes his hair is really out there.)

I dare these two unsimilar shows to both incorporate hula hoops into their shows next week. What do you want to see? "

I know this isn't about this Knight Rider, but an interesting look back at Hasselhoff's career. Includes how he got started (did you know he auditioned for juliard?) Knight Rider, Baywatch, and his new Reality tv series with his dauther: Meet the Hasselhoffs.

" "It hit every kid's dream having the world's fastest car," Hasselhoff said, adding that even today, people jump out of their cars "even during the times when I got the world's worst press" to greet him because of that one character. "It wasn't about violence. It was about action," Hasselhoff said. "It was about making a difference." "
