Have people seen the promos for Samurai Girl, it's some new ABC Family series, about a girl trying to uncover the truth about her families involvement in the Japanese mafia. It seems cool. don't really see this type of stuff on TV usually. I'll like the promo below. Let me know what you think.

I already scheduled it on TiVo. It definitely seems different from anything on TV now. I think it will be good. It is based on a popular comic book/anime series or something from Japan.

It is based off a series of books, my friend actually read them and she said that she really enjoyed reading them. I'll have to talk to her after I watch this weekend, because I'm interested in how close they followed the book. One other cool thing to point out- if you have some free time before Fri. You can download the first episode for free on Itunes... I just watched and was impressed, I thought it was really entertaining and that Jamie Chung was awesome. Just search Samurai Girl in Itunes and it should come up.
