i want to post a pic in my signature,and i don't know how?do i have to have a website?

Go to your profile over there you can modify your signature.

To add a small picture/banner just use BBcode (that's same code you just on the boards) so to add a picture it would be: [img]http://url[/img]

I made this new banner on my computer, how can I get it onto my signature. I tried to copy and paste the location info but it didn't work. it's saved as a bmp. can you help me?

I need help with posting a picture for my banner, I have used the BB code but my picture doesnt show up! can someone PLEEZE help me!

You need to upload your picture to a website that supports direct linking, Photobucket for example. You then put BBCode into your sig as follows:

[ IMG ] webaddress.com [ /IMG ]

Just remove the spaces. Hope that helps.

You should take a look at this thread Signature Guidelines because I think that picture is a little too large - the thread shows you what sizes you can use on your banners!

I'm having a problem, hopefully somebody can help me. I'm trying to add this banner to my sig:



And I want it to be linked so that it will take you to the thread to vote for the James Franco board. My problem is that when I try to save the changes it keeps telling me that my sig is too big. I think the problem is that all of the [img] and [url] codes add up to more than 300 characters. So is there anything I can do to get the James banner in there without having to take out one of my other banners?

In short, no, not without removing another image or link.

exactly - all the key strokes count towards the total - I guess you could make the image names smaller maybe!

Does anyone have any good sites that I could find great banners to upload in my signature?

Where do I put in a banner if I want one? I can't find a place...like with the avatar... Yair I know...I have to find another...avatar that is.
I really miss the old layout...but I know how it is when one has to do a "Make over"....

Go to My Controls then click on Edit Signature ( It's under Personal Profile) You can edit your signature there.

Than you to Blessed... Now I just need a new one...the Avatar is sweet as it is...for now. I have what I think is too big an Avatar...I can try and put it in the "test-thread" later...thanks again.
