Well I taped the new "90210", I haven't watched it yet, but Maybe tommorrow night.

I went & watched " Traitor" tonight, it was not really all that great, but most people when they saw one town, that was on the screen, they all said"Oh this movie sucks now". You had to be there, To understand, but mentioning some "hick town" that a lot of people hate( it's a 25 minute drive form my place) But what botered me is #1- the "subtitles" I just hate that. I can't read that fast god!

Then #2 when you have ( exsample here) someone walking outa a resturant( suposely it was T.O>) & then stepping outside & your in London ,England, yeah that was really poorly done thru-out the movie.

so yeah don't waste your $10.00( I t was $4.20 for me tonight though, as it was "welfare night" as I always called it). :lmao:okay off to wonder a bit,

Waiting for the Gustav rain to start here later today... They say once it starts it won't stop for 24+ hours... Some areas could get 6 inches... How much rain did you get Lori?

I like itunes It's easy. I just wish they didn't do the DRM should I decide to NOT use an ipod all I've invested is kaput which isn't fair. Someone is going to eventually sue and win. DRM stuff doesn't seem to be holding up under court stuff. I think Sony has already lost once.

I watched Sam Girl. I adore Brendan is second lead it's so great ot see LOTS of Brendan and he gets to actually DO something. The fight scenes are amazing. It's clearly Brendan doing most so far. He even gotten on wires a couple of times already I've only caught it was his stunt guy once. The girl is beautiful and they are doing a good job of showing her awakening from timid child to warrior.

Kiln is in, preheating :hurry: I sprayed and it went better than I thought. I prolly should have used my mask. I hope I didn't breath much of that dust. I had a good breeze behind me. I just haven't done that in a while and the mask gets in my way. The plan is to glaze all day tomorrow and have the kiln ready for high fire by 7ish. That way hopefully we'll be done by the time any bad weather should hit from Hanna.

I don't really need a hurricane right now. They having it coming onshore at the boarder and then heading for right over us Grrrr! It will be downgraded by then. We're prolly 120 miles inland from the point it's supposed to come ashore right now. As usual tho, we are dead center of the eyes route. I don't know why a storm doesn't hit Florida it hits right below us and goes straight up the I95 corridor?

Remember Sam Girl is this whole weekend. Friday, Sat and Sunday. The eastie ep chat group is in play

SamGirl looked good when we saw clips at the convention. You could tell Brendan was very proud of his work on it. Thanks for letting me know we can get it on iTunes.

Wet and windy everywhere it seems, though we don't get the hurricanes and today was sunny but windy - this coming weekend looks like a washout here...

...but fortunately for me the weather looks as if it will be very kind in Poland and Slovakia for the next week at least. It looks like we are one step closer to getting to go on the trip. we have our upgrade going over Hopefully in two weeks they'll let us know about the return trip then it will depend on DV's lab work.

Another kiln has finished but I haven't seen how stuff came out.

Tiger turned 7 today,& Nikita's already 7( June 3rd was her b.d.)

Tiger is a 21 pound "tiger stiped tabby" & Niki's a calico, more white on her, then the beige & black. she's very tiny, I'm guessing she's like 8 pounds now,

I weighed them months ago, so I'm really hoping Tiger would lose some weight.

Any more vacation pix? ...Aw, what a sweet pic of your ferret. KCET (our local PBS station) had a show on ferrets and a big ferret show. It was fun to watch. Those ferret owners really love their ferrets.

She was black and white. When sure rolled over on her back with her paws splayed, I called her my “beached whale.”

My Mom had had one of those “big” birthdays. My brother surprised her and flew in from Minnesota. Then I threw a surprise b’day party for her. My Mom kept saying, “I don’t want a party. Please don’t do anything for my birthday.” Being the “bad daughter that I am, I didn’t listen to her. She was really surprised by my bro’s visit and the party. And both made her very happy.

Well his wife has kept him tied down and on such a short lease now we never see him out and about let alone in a movie we can actually see. And Tom (he is married too) seems to be more visiable because he is on a weekly show. If you haven't seen the new season episdoe stills, go check the Smallville board. Tom is looking VERY GOOD!

Thanks again Berry! I sure wish Brainic wasn't killed off, JM is so good in that role and really added a lot to the show. Although they could bring him back, they've done it before.

Lori, you didn’t miss Fringe. I got a preview copy of the pilot ep. The 2 hour pilot airs September 9th on Fox. I think you’ll like it; it’s good. The pilot (but not the totally finished version) is out there in cyberspace for downloading. But since the pilot airs in only 5 days, you might as well wait and see the completed version. ...Sorry that the Mexican food you had tonight didn’t agree with you.

Berry, thanks for sharing your experiences at Dragon Con. I really enjoyed reading your post and seeing the pix. It was a bit odd to see Michael Rosenbaum with his hair. I only know him from his bald Lex Luthor role and his bewigged Sorority Girl incarnation.

We had a family disaster yesterday... My Dad has a very old bike. It's 30 years old, and he's spent a few years lovingly restoring it to pristine condition. It's his pride and joy, and it used to look like this:

That's not Dad's bike, but is identical to it. At least it was identical, until yesterday...

Yesterday, while running the engine after doing some tuning on it, the bike had a misfire and burst into flames. The fire took hold too quickly to be able to put it out in time to save the bike. And the bike is now a charred remnant of what it was Literally - the seat is all burned away, the handlebars, name badge, carburretor... are all melted, the lights are gone, the dials are melted. The only thing that survived unscathed is the back bumper and number plate. Dad is devastated. And I'm gutted. It was such a beautiful, beautiful bike - a real classic. And it's gone forever . I have never, ever seen my Dad cry before, but he cried yesterday

Awww Spook your poor dad. At least he wasn't riding it at the time. How could it do that??

Asking for any good vibes to be sent to my first finish kiln. I just closed it up nad it's going. I hope it finishs before we get too much bad weather from Hanna.

Hanna is coming right over us. At least she doesn't look too bad but we are in wind gust of 50-60 MPH zone . We should get the eye very early sat morning, I think. I may drug mysef and try and sleep thru it. Big winds banging into your house fr hours on end get real irritating.

I find big winds scary - I always worry about what damage it's doing! I hope Hanna doesn't cause too much chaos for you. How are the horse with the wind?

I told Dad that it was lucky that no-one was riding the bike. The flames came up from under the petrol tank and straight onto the seat. If anyone had been sat on it, they would have been seriously burned. As it was, nothing except the bike was hurt. (It had been in a garage with 6 other bikes and two cars at the time - and was dragged out, while on fire, to save the other vehicles. So it's lucky the guy dragging it wasn't hurt - but he wasn't thinking too straight at the time, and just wanted to save the other vehicles and his house! - The bike was at a friend's house, not at my Dada )

Tek Sssshhh. Ooh when is the Paley thing? I may be 35 but my mind is like an 85 year old.

Spook Sorry about your dad's bike. There are only a few things that make a man cry and their machines is one of them.

Thanks for everyone’s awww, and about my cold/laryngitis. Those of you who’ve talked to me know that a speechless is a very rare occurrence.

Spook, what a shame about your dad’s bike. Is there a chance he could find a replacement in need of refurbishing – maybe on the internet? ITA, everyone’s very lucky that no one was on the bike at the time. Things can be replaced.

Vin, I hope Hanna is “just a breeze” and quickly blows over. We get the “Santa Ana” winds off the desert several times a year here in LA. The winds are sort of like the Scirocco winds and can gust up to 70 mph and more. If the Santa Anas go on too long, I get Here’s hoping that you, Michael, DV, the horsies and your pieces being fired all are unaffected by Hanna. ....How do your horses fare in the extreme weather? I would think they would get all jittery and jumpy.

Vin, looks like Hannah will be like Fay was for us. Right now we have clouds and some wind and rain from Hannah, but we are looking at Ike. He looks mean and I am not liking his path.
