Also in another piece of news... Brendan is up for a viewers's choice award for the Gemini awards (this is the Canadian equivilant of the Emmys). There should be a website up in the next week or so where we can vote for Brendan, and I will post a link as soon as I get it. But lets get the word out so we can make sure Brendan wins this!!!

I'm behind on Bones cause the person taking care of the house and barn let her kids mess with the big screen TV even tho we had told her it was off limits and hid the remotes. The kids still tried to turn the TV on and use the controlls on the TV, which didn't jive with the DVR, then they tried to reset the DVR and we lost everything we were recording for the entire 3 plus week trip

so, I'm 3 or 4 weeks behind on everything

I'm pretty sure that's the one we got - - that means we will get Brendan's appearance on 13th - wow surely we're not almost parallel with the States.

I had Pushing Daisies recording on a different TV so I got that at least. I had to catch up on SPN, Heroes, and Sara Connor on Hulu. I still have to catch up on Bones.

I can't wait for the first ep of 'Bones' Brendan will be in, and now he gives us the heads up on more to come! Made my day

As I don't get Sky I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the on-line site I've found doesn't go down before the episode airs The videos on a lot of the USA sites like Fox won't play in the UK.

Sorry I've been MIA for so long, I've been putting in long hours teaching this year,and then taking classes in the evening for a MA. Ed technology. I'm also working on my professional teaching portfolio (another hoop for teachers to go though to prove that they are highly qualified)

I hope this economic crisis resolves itself soon, the cut-backs my district is facing for next year is quite scary. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that my job isn't cut as I teach a subject area that isn't considered part of basic education (information literacy and 21st century skills).

Anyway, I'll contact Brendan to see if there was something else he was meaning to post. Maybe some new photos of James? I wonder if she is walking now that she is a year old. My nephew is a little over a month older than James, and has just started walking himself.

Brendan just told me that he finished filming the 3rd episode of Bones, and that he will be in the season finale as well. (Anyone know when that is going to air?)

I have no idea what those courses are you teach, I don't think they had them in my highschool, when I was there,( agian that was way too long ago..1985). So what courses is it simular to?

In a nutshell, I teach library skills. Library skills are much more linked to technology now than they were when I was a student.

I teach the research process, acquiring information, evaluating the accuracy, note taking, internet safety, security and responsibility, and appropriate use of technology.

As well as the more traditional library skills such as how to use a library, book selection, reference resources and the dewey decimal classification system.

In addition to my teaching duties, I provide technology professional development training for teachers in the district, maintain the schools library collection, and maintain the technology in the building.

Juvenile---but, of course! Thankfully he didn't deem the comment senile, disingenuous or disrespectful. Rather, he honed in on the saucy ribald humor that comes with being a BOF (or at least it does with this BOF ). After all, he did leave a huge opening and we all know someone was going to say something.

Good to hear that he's doing well with his acting and golf activities. The tid bits from "Bones" were not only interesting , but intriguing as well. Hmmmm, perhaps starting a thread speculating as to what type of uniform "Jared" will be wearing next is in order.

So little Miss Fehr is 1 year old! Terrific! Is she skating yet? Everyone tells new parents that the first years are the best. That isn't true. Each year is the best! Each year brings new insights and challenges as well as sweet memories and rewards. May Mr. & Mrs Fehr's little angle continue to bring Brendan and Jennifer joy, happiness and hopefully only a few grey hairs.
