Wow! getting a horse left to you in a will! That's kinda sweet that someone would put y'all together like that.
This is so cool

to be able to really talk horses and not feel like your inflicting on Non horse types
Vin found me.
I had been with a friend when she bought her as a weanling. Friend, Leeanna, was determined to have an FEI horse. A doc just finishing schooling, she bought Vin as she was intering her residency leaving her to be raised by the breeder. When Leeanna came home and took Vin over it was clear Vin and she just didn't match. Vin can be difficult.
She tried sending her to Buck Brannamin {sp} for the horse whisper stuff but it didn't go over well, Vin jumped out of the round pen. She was asked not to return

He said "this stuff doesn't work on all horses and she's one"
Next she sent her into training with various "bigwig" types.

Vin was a
bad girl

Before her 4th birthday they said she was certainly not Dressage material, or jumper {from one of the Canadian Olympic types who lives here} and felt she was just good for a broodmare, she has really excelent Hannoverian Bloodlines. I bought her for half of what Leeanna had paid for her as a 9 month old.
I bought her not having seen her in over 2 years

she's pretty much always been perfect for me. At 11 she works at Intermediare 2 on a good day so I guess she
was a Dressage prospect
I'm hoping to finish her up this year. She needs for her one tempi's to be confirmed. She can do a bunch but they are god-awful.

Not straight and she can prolly do 10 between 2 letters

We're working on moving them forward adn staying deeper. She
finally catching onto piaffe, that was hard for her. She wants to push so for a very long time it came out stuck passage. She still has poor extentions, which is wierd cause all the rest of her trotwork is amazing.
Jazz ~ Hang in there on the farm thing. I honestly never even wished to have a farm like I do. I love my farm, way beyond what I'd ever dreamed of. You can never tell what will happen?
