Last night I saw the preview for the ep next week.
Trucco looks great, as usual but he plays a serial rapist. *cringes* .
Still I'm looking forward to watching him play against type.

Hey all!
Just a reminder to check out L&O SVU tomorrow night at 10pm if you have a chance. Should be good fun....in a creepy, deviant, sex criminal kinda way.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Just finished watching the ep. Quite riveting, actually. You look great in it. Absolutely. Have you been working out?
It was very interesting to see you play such a despicable character. It was quite, and still is disturbing to see. Still, nice to know you can play against type. You do scary creepy... well. Hee.
BTW, the purple shirt looked best on you, brought out your eyes.

I saw the episode. Wow, Michael, you were amazing! Very well played! Very creepy. Very unlike Sam Anders, LOL.
You did a great job of changing the guy's reactions throughout the episode, as he went from playing "innocent", to playing "unwell", to full out "I'm the bad guy and I'm totally OK with that". It was quite a range. But quite dead-on for a psychological deviant, as they tend to convince themselves of their own innocence.
May I ask, was it hard for you to get into the mindset of a serial rapist? Was there any particular way that you prepared for the role? I remember reading an interesting comment from James Marsters of Buffy fame, when he had to film an attempted rape scene, and he talked about how hard it was. It was so hard on him, actually, that he basically told the writers they were dicks for making him do that, and vowed to never do another scene like that in his career, because it was so devastating. I'm sure that's quite a sacrifice for an actor to make for his career, filming a scene so emotionally disturbing. (It's so disturbing for me to watch that I avoid it, and actually steer clear of SVU for that reason. I watched this ep because you were in it!) Cheers to you for getting through it and doing such a good job!
Well done, and I hope to see more from you soon.

Oh wow Michael that was an amazing performance! It was disturbing and I forgot that it was you, my favorite actor, playing such a creepy guy! Bravo for an outstanding performance and I look forward to seeing you on The Big Bang Theory as well as the remaining BSG eps!
Love always,

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and support. Yes, creepy indeed! and maybe even a bit disturbing to some. But, I am fortunate to get a chance on occasion to play against type and go outside the comfort zone even if at the risk of alienating some fans. That, however, seems to be only the rare instance as most of you all understand that I'm just 'playing the part.'
I look forward to these kinds of challenges but they CAN leave me in a funk for a few days/weeks sometimes while Im living in the skin of the character. But it's all good. Thanks for watching. I promise a little lighter fare will be served on "The Big Bang Theory". Basically, my job on that episode was to shut up, look pretty and let the funny happen around me. That cast is hilarious. The are a great group to work with. Should be a bit more fun to watch.
Love life....live love.

I thought that you showed what an outstanding actor you are. It was brilliantly played and I commend you for stretching out into other more diverse parts!
I'm looking forward to seeing your part on "The Big Bang Theory" and I'm sure that I'll enjoy it as much as anything else that I've see you do.
Keep up with the great work and I hope that you have lots more appearances coming up soon!
Hope you and Sandra have a wonderful Christmas season!
Love always,

That's a cool attitude to have, Michael.
When/where can we catch The Big Bang Theory? I'll make sure to watch that. I must admit... I do enjoy big, pretty men who bring the funny.
Happy Holidays!

I just saw Michael's performance on SVU, and while his acting was first rate, I didn't find it particularly convincing. Let's be honest - no man who looks like Michael Trucco is ever going to have to force himself on a woman. I think it would have been more convincing if Michael was one of the victims.
(Ignore all that. I've got too much spare time & I'm being silly).
