Turns out I inadvertently started something here.

After seeing the posts about the possibility of a new name, some of your Bucs and I have been chatting about a new name for your fans so we can continue to stick by you (YAY!) even after BSG is over (Boo! *sniffs*).

Sadly, your non-suggestion of “Trucco’s Tramps” was not accepted (although there is one person who said that they didn’t mind being called that if you asked nicely).

Don’t feel too sad though. Some great suggestions, mine among them, were all turned down as well. No Tarts, Tooties or Turds.

Luckily, we have one that has been “voted” in.

Okay, 4 votes out of all your fans (and one yes from Swim as well). But hey, we care enough to vote. That should could as something, right? ;-)

We settled on TRUCCO’S TROOPS.

Nice sounding, and gender inclusive (seeing as you do have male fans and we wouldn’t want to exclude them).

I have been sent to ask for your stamp of approval (it would make us all very, very happy – ecstatic even. I strongly suspect some of us may encounter La Petite Mort – that would be one of your tramps there).

Your troops are ready and await your bidding. I’ve been told that they already have banners. Luckily, I’m not making them because as you have seen I suck at that.

Uh huh. But for me the tequila connection is actually a horror movie, old style. I think it was "Poltergiest." I was a kid so I don't really remember much of it, but I DO remember the tequila scene. The protagonist thought that he had gotten rid of the evil spirit and so he sat down with his bottle of tequila and started drinking it, really swigging it down.

Close up to the worm: it was the evil one. And the guy just drank it down with his next gulp.

A few seconds later, he guy starts chocking and regurgitates the tequila and the worm, only the worm is not a worm, but some kind of elastic being that takes HIS shape but with bones and muscle, and starts crawling away.

IT's so awful that it remains seared into my memory despite having had seen it only ONCE and this was two decades ago. *shudders* TEQUILA! I'm sure they won't want THAT as part of their ad campaign.

I have "Wishmaster 4" on my Netflix queue. I should have Michael Trucco (obviously not THE Michael Trucco, because I don't think he'd fit) in my mailbox by tomorrow. Trucco, don't let me down. This is your opportunity to achieve something both Katee and Jamie already have. I'm counting on you.
