Is it Jan 18 yet?

mia will be on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn on January 15th.

i think that jenny is now a little "in between".
she is not sure of her feelings toward marina. i think that marina didnt do it as a way to prove anything, it just happen.
jenny on the other hand is having a rough time climatating in LA and the fact that tim hasnt given her quality time is making her crave love in other places. thus, marina comes..she is filling the void that tim is leaving.
this plus the fact of her newfound acceptance of her truer identity is making her feel a little guilty. she is seeing herself as a cruel person to tim..whereas she is just letting her heart take the guide.
as she grow spiritually attach to marina, jenny will realize that her feelings for this unique and mysterious woman are true.
this will cause for her to take into effect the other fact: can she be "out" or be "closed out" as dana? can she be accertive and be open to her feelings? lesbian or bi?
anyone has a thought on this?

I saw her on the show and I thought it was hilarious! I loved how she was so nervous-it's very refreshing to see that in a 'celebrity'. Anyone know if there's gonna be a transcript?

i love jenny. i think she's a great, realistic character. i don't know where everyone gets the feeling that she's nuts. as for mia kirshner-she's awesome. she could take a dump on my chest anytime.

That made my day!

I met Mia at Power Up in Nov and can tell you that she is MORE beautiful in person. She takes her characters very seriously and does the very best she can to be as honest as possible with them. Jenny may be going through hell but Mia is well on her way to the stars.

the more i watch this show, the more i realize how freaking awesome of and actress mia kirshner is. she makes you feel every emtion jenny is going thru.

Mia is such a wonderful actress ~ she emotes so well... Jenny just breaks my heart in every episode. I can feel all her turmoil, uncertainty, fear, desire. Mia does an excellent job.

Oh my God after watching Lies Lies, I cant believe how amazing an actress Mia is. She does confident and sassy so beautifully and at the end of the episode she looked so lost I just wanted to give her a hug, instead of Tim. I am so obsessed with this show. Is it Sunday yet.

didn't like her as much at first, from the pilot, but she turns it on every week and now i am a offically a fan!

if an actress can make so many people feeling unsettled and not sure about the character, then you know they are doing a great job and should really be recognized as an excellent actress.

I just wanted to add my two cents about Mia Kirshner and her performance on The L Word! She does a wonderful job portraying Jenny. You can almost feel what she must be going through...being torn between two people. Mia is a wonderful actress. I have seen her in several movies, and she is great! Besides being extremely talented, she is soooooo beautiful! Wow!!!!!

Wow, I think I have a serious crush on mia kirshner. She's soo incredibly beautiful. I can't seem to get enough of her.. not only is she gorgeous, but she has amazing acting talent. Plus, her voice, her quirks/mannerisms, her eyes.. even her eyebrows.. jsut WOW She reminds me a lot of Jennifer Connelly too.. it's an uncanny resemblance..

Jenny is not my favorite character but I do like that there is a bi character on the show. Not just gay women. I am sure alot of ppl can relate to jenny's confusion. She is sexy/cute just too darn naive.

I love Mia.And I like Jenny too,even if she does annoying things sometimes.I really liked it when her friend Annette came to visit her.They were really funny together.They should make her (Sarah Strange?) a regular cast.

You know I was wondering the same thing...I really have to think that she is though, considering how many bi roles she's done...not saying that just because she acts like one that she is one, but since it's been like as many as it has it really wouldn't surprise me if she were. I mean if someone is totally against it i doubt she'd continue to do roles that are having her make out with women like that. I don't know if that makes sense...i kinda think Jennifer Aniston is BI too....she's made out with a woman twice on screen, and her hubby had to tell her to stop playing those roles (i guess to protect her image)...some times i just put two and two together. Ricky Martin refuses to say whether he's gay or straight...my translation is he's defintely gay! Just some thoughts i felt like sharing with you

From what she said in the chat on Showtime, I get the feeling she's not straight. I do know that she grew up with gay friends in Toronto, so maybe she's just refferring to the struggles they went through. She could also just be really media savvy and know that she's more believable in those roles if she's percieved as being bi in real life.

Just reading the Sho boards, and there was a thread about the recent discussion panel in NYC with Mia, Leisha and Ilene.. from reading some of the fan accounts, it looks like Mia is a very gracious, shy but charming lady in person.. love ya Mia!

Ok, some interesting tidbits for any Mia/Jenny fans out there:

* Leisha and Mia were great...very shy, especially Mia who I thought would crawl into herself at times if she could, but when she spoke she was very articulate and she DIDN'T WHISPER, for all of those who love to hop on that. About her character, she basically said that for her, she never approached it as a sexuality issue, but an intimacy issue..as a person who lacks intimacy within herself and looks outward to grasp it with others...and sometimes she felt very connected and other times, could completely disconnect (she=Jenny). She was so cool about it, and I loved everything she said. She also mentioned that when prepping for shooting, they watched a bunch of women sex scenes and noticed that women always touch really softly in the movies, and they vowed to have none of that...and Mia's thing was that when you touched the breast, you had to really touch it...touch the nipples and everything. It was so adorable when she was saying it.

*I was there too, won a tank top and Mia signed it I had a little chat with her since she has a similar ethnic background to mine. She is incredibly shy, but very sweet. Afterwards, she stayed and chatted a little with some fans and she told us that she thought the message boards were "brutal", but that she basically agreed with most of the things said here.

*Leisha made some jokes today about how she calls Mia every night and tells her to finally come out. I thought it was pretty funny. Mia laughed too.

Hmm, you know what they say.. a lot of truth is said in jest. I wonder if Mia enjoys all this speculation about her sexuality. All we know is that she refuses to publicly define her sexuality, has played a lot of bi roles in the past, enjoys kissing women (says it's lovely).. and grew up with gay friends in Toronto (where i'm from.. you represent, girl!)

but I guess we'll never know..

Another heads-up.. Mia will be appearing with JBeals and KM at the Queer As Folk premiere on April 15th (i think)..

I think her mom is either Hungarian or Bulgarian, and her dad is Jewish, not sure what country he's from, maybe Canada.

Hmm, I know I read this somewhere, but now i kinda forget (faulty memory again!).. to my best recollection, I think her dad is German (Jewish faith) and her mom is Bulgarian.. i could be wrong tho!
