It's so sad seeing this great show come to end like this cry.gif

Earlier today, a friend of mine described the tragedy of this show's demise from a poignant and profoundly groundbreaking work of fiction to an embarrassing circus side-show as "Ilene Chaiken drop-kicking her own baby"...

I'd say that's the most accurate metaphorical assessment I've heard thus far.

What a great episode. The competition going on between Alice and Bette was priceless, especially seeing them all dressed up like Salt N' Pepa "Alice, I'm wearing a turquoise onesie for you!"

Jeez, Jenny just gets nuttier and nuttier all the time. I think they're trying too hard to make us hate her so somehow her dying might be justified. I do not agree with this show going out on a negative note like this.

The moment that really got me was at the end when Marci was a no-show, and it parlays into Alice and Tasha being the last couple standing, and Alice asks Tasha if she's in love with Jamie. What an emotional couple of moments.

I can't wait for the finale, I hope that if Jenny the fruit tells Tina about Bette's "cheating," that Tina will have enough sense to choose Bette's side of the story.

i don't quite understand what's going on in season 6

if this is the end, well, it is by next week, then, i truly much prefer season 1 to 5

it's as though the writers are completely out of ideas and season 6 is only to milk whatever cash etc out of viewers/advertisers etc

or better, maybe they agreed to pay the actors for a certain number of episodes and showtime just wants to fulfill all contractual terms

I could not agree more. I have also watch this show go from great to less then there are no words to describe it. cry.gif I am hoping IC closes all the loose threads, but I dont have much hope on that.

Does anyone know if she is going to do an 2 hour show where they leave off on the ending to hopefully close up the loose ends?

WOW confused.gif Thats all I can say about this season, It seems like the writers don't have nothing really to go on or don't really care anymore rant.gif This EP was strung out to long and it was BORING and poor Alice, when is she going to get a break? sadsigh.gif

Loved the dancing but it dragged on a bit...

mostly agree with everyone. there are some cute parts and of course my favorite characters and their friendship make me appreciate the show - but it really does seem like the writers aren't even trying. like they are just like ok let's get this over with as fast as possible. it is really sad actually. sometimes i really don't understand what those writers are thinking.

the idea of this episode was a cute one, but, really? the episode before the entire series finale? they couldn't think of something better to start to wrap everything up? next week is going to feel so crazy (crazier?) and rushed and chaotic and pretty much like a 100 meter dash.
