Howdy you all! I am so delighted to even see that this still even exists; I was sure that it had been so long before I had actually worked that no one remembered me... It's been a crazy road but I'm back in the saddle and wanting to send a huge thank you and express to you that I'm truly sorry for bad movies, bad characters and most of all a bad disappearing act! I look forward to talking with you much more often and will answer (on time) Friday 5 questions starting right now. I shall go into my emails from Debi Hutchins (the amazing woman whom had the idea to begin with) to find those that I didn't answer and get them up.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support and love but hope that I can only do as much work onscreen as possible, while having as much fun as possible and stay in touch as much as possible!
Thank you thank you thank you!
Love,
Ian

Hehe, ah well...at least they kept you on our home screens, which is always a good thing. grin.gif

Thanks for posting, Ian! Glad to have you back and looking forward to great things for you in the future.

*little OT*...well, majaB, they flew in my day smile.gif would make like a bat and fly into open bedroom windows while some lovely female would be sleeping in a sheer negligee with her creamy(usually) neck exposed---also have been known to flutter down dark cobble stone alleys and around old gloomy castles)) lol-can not remember the word which means projecting ones self from one place to another..
MajaBee
Astral projecting? {old-man edit...no. astral is not it} <-----hey, I like being able to do this(smiles)

Hehe and I know that in some movies vampires can fly and do other stuff. I was just wondering if the VD vamps can.

Have you ever seen the old silent movie "Nosferatu"?

In the books, some can, yes, depending on how strong their Powers are. They have to morph into a different shape to do so, however. Damon is actually the one who does so the most often.

Yeah, way back when I was in high school. We had to watch it for our Feature Film class.

Hi Ian. Thank you so much for posting! Glad to hear that you are "back in the saddle".
old-man
LOL--not only did I not see it, I am having a heck of a time pronouncing the name!)) hey, if I can't fly, then...don't want to be an old-vamp! no.gif
Beckett
Robbie, you know you will never be old! I think in my limited exposure to vampires they have super human strength so a lot of their flying is leaping. unless it is the bat transfiguring type of vampire who can of course fly in their bat state. wow. i know almost as much about this as i know about making clothes from kelp . . LOL

FF from 13th April: http://www.iansomerhalder.net./FridayFive/F52008.htm

Wow, I find answer for one of my 16 questions smile.gif

You often speak about books and writers, but have not mentioned any Russian work. You did not read them, or simply do not love the Russian literature?

I_S, yours is question about "rus lit", is not it?))))))))))
I_S
Sendler, you should know that it's a part of my big question about Russia:
You were featured in Russian journal «Elle» and for a Russian men's store «Caligula». In FF you have told, that plan to go to Russia in the summer 2005. In March 2007 you planned to visit again Russia - fashion show of new collection Hugo Boss. Alas and alack, we had to be content Eva Green as the guest star. What your plans concerning research of Russia? By the way, you often speak about books and writers, but have not mentioned any Russian work. You did not read them, or simply do not love the Russian literature?

QUOTE(Ian @ Apr 13 2009)

I also learned about Nikinsky which awoke me to the beauty and talent that came out of Russia and it's contributions to art in general.

I think that Ian spoke about Vatslav Nizhinskiy, ballet dancer and choreographer
