Oooh, Lori, thanks for the TCA spoilers. Normally, I don't like to be spoiled, but for this, I wanted to be. Now I know which awards to tape. ...Did all of the cast members nominated/winning show up for the award show? Were any of them presenters, too? ...I am so happy that twilight won so many awards. (But, no surprise there...) It does help to reinforce the power/impact of the movie and the film's cast.

Did you get to watch the actual live show or will you have to wait until tonight like the rest of us?

"Twilight Dominates Teen Choice Awards 2009

The vampire drama Twilight drove a stake through the 11th annual Teen Choice 2009 awards on Sunday, winning 11 trophies in a ceremony also notable for its celebration of musical acts new and not-so-new.

Audience members thirsting for a glimpse of the Twilight stars were not disappointed, as the film won best drama as well as acting awards for leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and supporting stars Cam Gigandet, Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner.

Pattinson was also named Choice Male Hottie. "I really appreciate it. I have to say, the hottest teens of the year are Twilight fans!" he told the crowd during the taped event, which airs Monday night on FOX. . "

I still am looking forward to New Moon, .Hey! the whole bookset was $63.00 at Walmart the other day, when I was in ther, but then thought if I bought them all seperate it would be like $50.??

I was still supposed to get them all form my friends daughter,so still holding on that plan, for another wek, then I'll have to go to the liabray.( as I don't keep books. Once I've read them there gone)

Okay, I was very disappointed with the Teen Choice Awards show. With all the awards that twilight won, I figured the show would be 50% twilight. Well, I was hoping for 50% twilight; I would have been happy with 25%... we got like a total of 5 minutes of the actors and stuff. <<<<sigh>>> The Jonas Brothers got way too much time IMO....

HMQ, if you can get to Costco, the twilight boxed set is selling for like $46 or so. It's a good buy - and you even get posters, too.

Yeah, I didn't like them lumping the awards together like that. The Kids Choice is much better than the Teen.

You know I think we could say that 'Twilight' got one more award. Paramore got an award too and they used the Twilight vid for their win or so it looked from the clip.

Lori, the vid for the Paramour song that won the TCA definitely has twilight embedded in it.

Yeah ... my buddies Paramore won for Decode ... which of course is on the Twilight Soundtrack, and video is definitely Twi-inspired!

I agree Tek on the lack of Twi-Cast screen-time . .. I fast forwarded through most of it ... just couldn't endure the other stuff ... and I'm so far behind on my to-do list that time is at a premium!

I sure would appreciate it if someone made a TCA vid with just the twlight moments - including the shots of the actors sitting in the audience. ....Anyone interested in scouring the internet to see if someone has already done that?
