Hank Azaria joins cast of 'Love and Other Drugs.' Read full article from: jaxobserver.net by Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith

" Right now, however, Azaria’s attention is also on “Love and Other Drugs.” In fact, he tells us that with the health care debate raging on, he, Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal and the rest of the “Love and Other Drugs” team keep saying to one another, “We wish this movie was coming out next week. It just has so much to say about the effect big pharma has really had on the medical profession and the health care world. It’s greater than people think,” Azaria declares. “This really goes into what that system has created and how it works in a day-to-day way.”
As it is, the comedic drama/romance has weeks of production left to go. Azaria is playing “a doctor of questionable ethics, who engages in some things dealing with pharmaceutical companies that you wish your doctor wouldn’t do” in the feature.
Drawn from “Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman” by Jamie Reidy, the film’s depiction of “this whole world — the pharmaceutical world — and the Viagra story itself are all true. The love story between Jake and Anne, that part is fiction,” he says. "

Jake explains his new Steelers tatoo and talks love and other drugs and brothers on Jimmy Kimmel Live...

IPB Image

" The tattoo was only temporary, created for his talk show appearance in consultation with the show's producers during a routine pre-interview that also settled on a story he told about meeting a fan at a Steelers game.

Mr. Gyllenhaal said a woman presented him with a Terrible Towel she hadn't washed in 25 years.

"I'm a huge fan of 'Bubble Boy,' " Mr. Gyllenhaal recalled the woman saying, referring to one of the lesser films among his credits. He described the towel as filthy and handed it off to a friend who later used it to wipe the remains of a Primanti Bros. sandwich off his face.

Mr. Gyllenhaal claimed he didn't remember much after that but said he woke up the next morning with the Steelers tattoo, which he happily revealed to a rowdy studio audience. His publicist confirmed the tattoo was temporary."

Not really related to the movie but more to Anne Hathaway herself....

From www.torontosun.com

"The latest Spider-Man 4 rumour is truly bird-brained. The Movieline website is reporting John Malkovich and Anne Hathaway may be swooping in to menace Tobey Maguire in the next sequel, due in May 2011. Malkovich is said to be up for the role of The Vulture, the classic Spider-Man foe who soars around Manhattan on a wing and a sneer. Hathaway, meanwhile, may play Felicia Hardy — the character previously linked to Rachel McAdams — who in this sequel becomes, not the Black Cat, but the Vulturess. (What’s next? Dr. Octopussy?) While this rumour du nerd could have some validity — Malkovich turned down the Green Goblin role in 2002’s Spider-Man — consider it potential bird droppings until casting becomes official early next year."

Although I like her and the spiderman series I still feel they should put the movie to rest... just my opinion... what do you think?
