Oh, fenderlove, these are just great. I love the really scruffy clothes and the long shaggy curls. Also, like the only dialog that I heard James' character utter in the trailer "Someone's going to die today...you choose."

The show's creators also ended up devoting more time to certain characters than they had originally planned to, and the show lined up recurring guest stars such as James Marsters and Patton Oswalt.

This coming Thursday and Friday the SyFy Channel will be showing sneak peeks of Caprica during the James Bond Marathon!

There is some confusion about when James will start appearing. Some say next week. Some say episode 3, the week after and Michael Ausiello of ew says March 5th.
Doesn't matter to me, I'm hooked on the show and will be watching all eppies.

Really excited James is in Caprica. I think it's gonna be a show that has a lot to say. I like when James is in shows like that.

In potentially distressing news, the premiere episode of Caprica reeled in a disappointing 1.6 million viewers, way below the averages for Battlestar Galactica and Stargate: Universe. It is, of course, important to note that some 2 million fans have already sampled the Caprica pilot, as it has been made available online and via DVD.



Another reason for a low turn-out for the first episode might be the Haiti Fund Raising that was going on at the same time. That was on many channels and may have had an impact. Guess this week's numbers will be the true test of interest.

Good interviews. I'm really looking forward to James joining this show. I really love what I've seen so far which isn't much. i wasn't expecting it to be so intense. The camera work is very different.

The camera work is great...and different in different scenes. Intelligent use,,,like they just did a film noir type episode where all the scenes in the virtual world looked like a 40s movie. It was cool.

I liked the Vergis character. He was understated but you can see he means business and Daniel Graystoke is in deep kimchi now.

Wondering what Zoe-Robot is doing. Is she really "dating" Lab boy or does she want something else from him?

I was confused when Adama's wife was named Shannon because I thought her name was Evelyn in BSG. Sooo was very interested to see an Evelyn pop up at Adama's digs. Hope she cools her jets, the poor wife's only been dead a few weeks.

James Marsters....my perennial complaint:

When O When will tv series stop with huge build up media blitzes about James joining a cast only to give us 3 minutes of his time???

I understand that this role is supposed to be much more...so I am looking forward to seeing that develop. That being said, this was an intense and interesting start.

For those that can and want to catch up on Caprica, SyFy will broadcast all the episodes in order, a marathon viewing it seems, Friday, March 12, starting at 2 pm EST with the pilot and ending with the new episode, "The Imperfections of Memory" at 9pm EST.

No Barnabas! No Frakkin Barnabas? The most interesting character introduced and I have to sit through snooze-fest Amanda and Clarice to have no pay off at all.

I am not a happy camper.
