Crowley! Is that a shout out to Good Omens? I know were not ep chating tonight but I just to ask if anyone knows if this has been mentioned.

Joe looks good. Oh cool, Joe's working with the boys. Hope we get to see Ellen.

SH*T where'd he get bullets?

This is SO Good Omens. Crowley doesn't want to have things change. COOL!

Hey Val! Have someone around! You'll need them.

Oh man, please tell me they are not going to pull an Oz and kill off characters every week in their last season (if this is the last season). Jo and Ellen bawl.gif bawl.gif bawl.gif!!!!

Ok and how did Cass find them this time, aren't they still wearing what he gave them so that angels couldn't find them.
lyric
Seriously, Sam? Crowley will just hand you the Colt with bullets? Though he made up for it by the little reminder to Dean that if they had learned anything, is that they have to do things together.

You do not take picture(s) before going on a mission!

Interesting to see someone powerful who is unfamiliar with Castiel; his (Lucifer) reaction and Castiel's to the situation were something I don't think we've seen before.

Jo's face when Dean kissed her on the forehead... sad.gif And the kiss. Why can't the women they love actually live?!

Ellen and Jo bawl.gif bawl.gif bawl.gif I do hope we'll see them again. Amazing performance by Samantha and Alona!

Well, it was clear they won't kill Lucifer. This is episode 10.

Oh Honey, that is what us old time fans call The Little Joe Syndrome. I don't know if you ever heard of a series called Bonanza but it was a western on during the 60s & early 70s. The youngest son was called Little Joe played by a young and handsome Michael Landon.

This post explains this perfectly:

A good question might be: What do TV writers have against leading males getting married or even having a serious relationship? I sort of think of it as the Little Joe Syndrome. Every time Little Joe Cartwright (Michael Landon) of "Bonanza" would get serious about a girl, she'd have to go one way or the other~leave him or die; at least one almost-bride died. Sometimes this happens in films, but TV series have a bad habit of doing this. One Sunday evening, one of the Hardy Boys lost his true love; about an hour or so later, Jane Seymour was the bride fatality on "Battlestar Galactica"! Both shows were by the same producer! Talk about bad timing, wouldn't you say? As recently as "Supernatural", we've had two true-love losses!

So poor Jo was a victim of Little Joe Syndrome.
lyric
Of course I heard of Bonanza smile.gif I think that it still has reruns on the Middle East Channel (METV). Not sure, though.

I get the whole syndrome issue. I even wrote two articles about it (here and here) back in 2007, when Ruby and Bela were introduced. One of them is titled "The Jo Syndrome – Here we go again?"

I get the need (series-wise) to break all the ties that Dean and Sam have, leaving them as close to alone as possible, but what about angst that will leave the women alive? Coma? Something that will hold hope for somewhere alone the way?

Though Dean and Sam were brought back to life, so who knows? wink.gif

Vinity, I think that sentence captures my own response to this episode.
