I thought this would be funny, since we just have Sci Fi Magazine list Eon Summerholder as Lana's new love interest in Smallville.

At the other place, when the Ian board first went up , we saw Ian Somerhadler in big, big letters...

So what are the other ones you can remember?

Eon Summerholder is by far the biggest *bleep* up of all time. We need some kind of special award for those idiots.

Didn't MTV have it wrong on that Rules of Attraction special?

eon? that's really strange. b/c someone must have thought it really was spelled that way, b/c if you were gonna make a guess at that name, well, hey..... wait a minute...... sci fi magazine? i think maybe someone's been writing too long about sci fi alieny characters and defaults to the overly complicated spelling?

it's been eons since i've seen such a strange misspelling!

For those who own a copy of CHANGING HEARTS--if you check out the deleted scenes there is an extended version of the beginning that was cut out of movie. The opening credits role...and lo and behold Ian's name is misspelled. IAN SUMMERHALDER.
Good thing someone changed it before it went to print. LOL

The CH website had it wrong at first, too!
I just don't understand why it's so hard?!?

On E! Behind RoA they wrote Ian Somerhalter.

I know I use to spell it Somberhalder before But I know how to spell his name now and have for a few months. My bad. I just looked on my Paul Denton fanlisting and still had the old spelling on there My bad again....I didn't even realize the same ol' spelling was there till I went to look

Heh, a 'Somerhalter' sounds like a strappy sexy little number you might wear in warm weather (that ties in the back for your neck).

People are really stupid about names that seem the least bit complicated or 'foreign.'

I went to school with a girl whose last name was Colurso (which was pronounced just like it looks col-ur-so) and the teachers always mangled it and hesitated before pronouncing it, and added multiple extra syllables, etc!

And that doesn't even have nearly as many letters as Ian's last name.

I think the 'eon' thing was so far off, it probably was a really sleepy editor/bad typist using spellcheck and just hitting 'yes' at all the suggested subtitutions!

Oh well... when Ian is a 'household name' some day, more people will know how to spell it! They figured out Zellweger!

Oh man, my mind went so many places with that since he is a strappy sexy little number...

I think he's more of a 'strapping, sexy number'!

But not bad to consider wrapping (his arms at least) around one's neck! Not that I ever think about him in those terms!!! Too young, too nice... Well, except that one photo where he was lying on the sofa, giving a come-hither sort of look..

only it was Ian instead of Raoul Bova, and he wasn't lying on his belly...and the sofa wasn't in the ocean! LOL! The kind of photo that makes you want to join him on that sofa!

Ohhh.. that one is even nicer! Didn't remember the sofa being white so I did some research (heh at your site) and the one I was struck by was from Teen People (knew it was in something we subscribed to because I have it at home)



That combination of looking innocent and very knowing and sensual at the same time... young face, beautiful strong young arm and hand, and wise ageless eyes? Anyway, makes you want to join him and snuggle up!

Kind of reminds me of one of my favorite pix of my #1 favorite guy on earth - he may have been playing a 16 year old boy, but he was definitely all man!
