| The comedy series 30 Rock was the evening’s big winner at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, taking home Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Alec Baldwin), Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Tina Fey), Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Tim Conway) and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series (Tina Fey).
Held for the first time at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 21st, all five nominees in the category for Outstanding Reality/Competition Host -- Tom Bergeron (Dancing with the Stars), Heidi Klum (Project Runway), Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal), Jeff Probst (Survivor) and Ryan Seacrest (American Idol) -- shared hosting duties, with Probst taking home the award.
Bryan Cranston and Glenn Close were the big winners in the dramatic acting categories, while freshman series Mad Men took home basic cable’s first win for Outstanding Drama Series.
