Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) says that both he and Michael Hogan (Col Tigh), along with Dominic Zamprogna (Jammer) have roles in NBC’s Bionic Woman pilot. It had earlier been announced by the network that Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck) would appear in the pilot and have a recurring role throughout the season. “It’s David Eick’s pilot. So he just called up his favorite Battlestar actors and said ‘Hey, you wanna do this, you wanna do that?,’ and we all said sure. Why would we say no?,” said Douglas.
Douglas surprised the hosts of the live radio talk show The Two Doctors on Sunday night with an unannounced and unplanned live call in. Douglas had been invited to call into the show anytime he wanted, but on Sunday’s show he waited in the queue for more than 20 minutes with fans of the cancelled CBS show Jericho, who were calling in to get the word out about their campaign efforts.
Douglas also talked about the decision by Battlestar Galactica show runners to cast him (along with Michael Hogan) as one of the final five cylons.
The Two Doctors is produced by MediaBlvd Magazine and hosted by Kenn Gold and Jim Iaccino. The show is hosted on BlogTalkRadio.
