More than 600 shrieking fans, consisting mostly of teenage girls, lined the streets outside the
Mann
Village and Bruin Theaters in Westwood on November 17th, to catch a glimpse of the stars attending the worldwide premiere of Twilight. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling Young Adult series about a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire, Twilight is a cultural phenomenon with a highly dedicated fan base, some of whom camped out overnight, while many arrived at dawn to line the red carpet, in the hopes of meeting Robert Pattinson (who plays Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (who plays Bella Swan), along with all of the other cast members, filmmakers and soundtrack artists that attended.
