ABOUT THE MOUSE
You may be wondering just who this Mandy person is that goes by QuietMouse on MediaBlvd and heaven forbid, how is she qualified to be talking all things entertainment? When I'm not masquerading online as QuietMouse, my full-time job is working at the major newspaper in my area in the Digital Media department. I do a little bit of everything in my job--from writing copy to creating headlines to getting the latest scoop on anything entertainment-related. I previously worked for Zap2it.com and UltimateTV.com before taking a break and finding my way to my current job.
TV/MOVIE DISH
Calling all "American Idol" fans. The theme for next week's shows are songs from the '50s. Barry Manilow is set to make an appearance--no doubt to promote his new CD which are incidentially all songs he sings from the 50's.
Kelly Monaco and Tom Bergeron ("Dancing with the Stars") will host "The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" on April 28. This year, the show will air live from the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles rather than in New York.
Ice Cube is set to star in a big screen remake of the TV classic "Welcome Back, Kotter"
Beginning on Monday (March 20), fans of "The Apprentice" can sign up for text message alerts. Those who sign up will receive at least five text messages from different candidates on the show--detailing thoughts strategies and decisions of that person as the episode progresses.
SCOOPING OUT THE SPOILERS
This week's "Apprentice" will see the remaining contestants designing billboards for the new Post Grape Nuts Trail Mix Crunch Cereal and the winning team will get to cook with Jean-George at his restaurant at the Trump International.
When new episodes return of "One Tree Hill" Karen will be facing life without Keith and the rest of the gang head out of town to try and deal with the aftermath of what happened. Look for an intimate scene to occur between Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) on a bear skin rug.
