With sirens blaring, Aussie duo Jessica and Lisa Origliasso, AKA The Veronicas, took the stage at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on June 7th, with a short “Hello, Los Angeles,"  before soaring into “Revolution,” the first song in their short 5-song set. Jessica, dressed all in black, belted out the chorus, while sister Lisa sang sweetly, in a white baby doll dress. Alternating from singing back to back, arm in arm and face to face it’s not hard to see how close these two are. Did I forget to mention that they’re twins?

Young fans sang along and pounded their fists in the air with great enthusiasm. Towards the end of their set, comprised of songs off their Sire Records debut, "The Secret Life of the Veronicas," a fan held up two bouquets which the sisters excepted with a thank you. The last song “4 Ever” was dedicated to someone in the front who was celebrating their 21st birthday. “We’re 21 too," Lisa said.

The rest of the set included "Everything I’m Not," "When it All Falls Apart" and "Mouth Shut," the twin’s favorite. Although the set was far too short, The Veronicas left a lasting impression. With the exception of a few hoarse notes from Jessica, that were a result of screaming, they put on a flawless set.  These gals have a bright future.

Also on the bill were Ashley Parker Angel and Ashlee Simpson, with surprise guest Ryan Cabrera, who sat in with Chris August.
