"Traveling through a terrific penultimate episode..." [Traveler]

All throughout this episode, I was stunned by the sheer amount of distance covered towards achieving closure.  I think this episode pretty much summed up the "wrapping things up for the finale" phase rather well.  Now all that remains is for justice to be served where it's merited, mysteries revealed, and alliances questioned.  I still can't believe there is only one episode left, and I hope that this terrific miniseries goes out with the resonating high quality it's proudly displayed all season long.

It seems as though Will has finally decided to wreak his vengeance against Maya's killers -- what took him so long?  Anyways, he started on the forensic level as he closely examined Maya's dead photograph for any telltale hints about the identity of the murderer.  Apparently the killer had a full sleeve of unique tattoos that Will tracked down to find his location.  (After watching "Supernatural" and then this, I'm beginning to wonder how these guys manage to get a hold of these awfully convenient FBI badges.)

Long story short, Will found the guy and managed to uncover that the man at the helm of the conspiracy is government big-shot, Jack Freed.  (Real creative name!)  Then he had his bad-a** moment, as he shot the guy for not even remembering Maya's name.  Traveler is starting to become even more of a colorful character than he used to be, I can't stop marveling how Will came up with the idea of hanging a guy by using his own car.  (Yeah, I know -- how very creepy of me to marvel at a thing like that!)

On the other hand, Tyler Fog seems to have gotten to the same conclusion about Jack Freed, but he probably a more enjoyable time arriving at that answer than Will.  After being separated from Tyler , Jay decided to approach the FBI with information about Will.  Despite the fact that I really doubt Kim's loyalties to Jay (there really are no interesting Kim's in television), she managed to help lure Miss 'Rogue' FBI agent to Jay.  However, that turned out to be not such a terrific idea seeing as Jay and Tyler finally reunited...in a standoff.  Thankfully, Will showed up at the most convenient time to even the odds.

We also unearthed that one of the bad guys from the previous episode was an FBI agent.  Agent Marlow tried to keep that information away from Chambers, and I trust her loyalty to the country and I don't believe that she's the mole.  However, I do believe that there is a mole, and judging by Agent Fred Chambers' rather uneasy behavior over the past couple episodes -- I'm guessing its him...or maybe it's that one quiet guy that Marlow works with!  (Plus the fact that Chambers has the first name as me pretty much spells out trouble!)

Overall, I thought this was a terrific episode, although I do have a few minor squabbles about it.  I understand that romance has been an integral component of great dramas for quite sometimes, but I just feel that episode utilized an unnecessary amount of...lovin'.  It just seemed implausible and transparent.  Apart from that, I give this episode a 9/10
