The Office: Are "Big Haircut" and "Secret Assitant to the Regional Manager" getting back together?

I think it was meant to be inconclusive, but it seems as though our beloved Jim and Pam might be getting back together!  I cannot believe how good this episode was…I'm still stunned.  This has to be the best season finale in Office history -- even better than last season's heart-string twangin' cliffhanger ending.

I don't even know where to begin…I guess I should start with Pam.  If Jenna Fischer shined in last week's episode, than she was brilliantly radiant in this episode.  Pam seems to have gained loads of confidence after her shocking confession last week, and she seems to have no problem anymore about divulging her feelings.  I absolutely loved the little scene between her and Karen.  However, I didn't think it was fair that the office members would tease her about her heart-felt moment.

As for Michael, I really feel sorry for his character.  He was so sure that he was going to get that job, until he found out he was suppose to replace Jan.  To make matters worse, Michael had just gotten back together with Jan and her…er…additions.

Speaking of Jan, she had one major meltdown.  I really don't care for the boss guy, but I agree with him about Jan.  This hasn't really been the year for her, she's made a lot of bad decisions (including getting together with someone who's emotional maturity is less than that of an 8-year-old).  All the same, Jan really felt like a corporate person to me, and she really seemed suited for that job.  I wonder what's in store for her next season…

It was only fitting to this chaotic episode that Dwight would be named as Michael replacement for a brief period of time.  If Michael wanted to be certain that Scranton's management would continue to be an utter disaster, he definitely picked the right person.

The completely unexpected twist of the episode was that Ryan would be taking the position at corporate.  I did NOT see that one coming.  As for Jim and Pam, it seems that things might be heading in a very happy direction -- although I seriously doubt that Karen will let that happen!

Some honorable mentions…

-Dwight's reaction after being appointed Michael's replacement

-Andy renaming Jim "Big Haircut" opposed to "Big Tuna."  (Is it just me or does Jim's hair look horrendous.)

-Dwight's "Schrute Buck," and Stanley's "Stanley Nickel."

-Pam being labeled Dwight's "Secret Assistant to the Regional Manager."

-Creed's Blog

-Ryan breaking up with Kelly

-Michael's hilarious interview

-Michael's departure song

-Dwight repainting the office black

-Angela's glee at Dwight being in charge

-Kevin spending the entire day weighing the beauty of Pam and Karen

Overall, this was an excellent episode, and it magnificently displayed why The Office is the best comedy currently on television!  I give it a 9/10.  Can't wait for next season!
